With $26 million in federal stimulus funds received through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), CHA is transferring 438 units of state supported public housing into federal housing. Federalization work includes $882,000 investment into various developments. Studio G Architects is working with CHA on projects for 140 units. Work includes site improvements, lead abatement, kitchen and bathroom modernization, window replacement and common area renovation and refurbishment.
