As part of their Lights On Afterschool celebration, on October 18^th  the Lynn YMCA celebrated the grand opening of the Kids Kitchen and Café designed by Studio G Architects.  Lights On Afterschool is a national event that promotes the benefits of afterschool programs in supporting families.  Lynn Mayor Judy Flanagan Kennedy, in attendance, proclaimed it “Lights On Afterschool” day in Lynn.   The Kids Kitchen and Café serves as a cooking classroom where kids learn about nutrition and to cook, and work with staff to create healthy snacks.  See the article in The Daily Item of Lynn. http://www.itemlive.com/articles/2012/10/19/news/news07.txt
