Can architecture positively impact learning, inspire creativity and help students develop important skills for the future? At Studio G, we believe this is possible. So when Sturgis Charter Public Schools approached us to design a new facility for 400 students in grades 9-12, we saw enormous potential to create an innovative learning environment that would support and express the school’s mission and culture.
By stretching the technology and capabilities of permanent modular construction, our team was able to meet the project’s tight timeline and budget, while creating a sustainable building full of daylight, spatial and visual connectivity, and countless opportunities for collaborative learning.
Over the next few weeks, we will be publishing a series of videos about this exciting project. Here’s our very first VLOG (aka Video Blog). Enjoy! And feel free to tell us what you think!
