Shifting Food Systems: Multi-Scale Urban Agriculture

The American Society of Landscape Architects 2013 Annual Meeting & Expo lands in Boston next week!  Join the world’s largest gathering of landscape architecture professionals and students November 15-18, 2013.  Studio G’s Founder and Managing Principal, Gail Sullivan, will be presenting alongside Kubi Ackerman of Columbia University’s Urban Design Lab and Justin Hollander of Tufts University Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning on the topic of Shifting Food Systems: Multi-Scale Agricultural Applications in Our Cities.

The panel will discuss case studies and address a diversity of agricultural applications for cities at multiple scales. Join us and learn about the important role of design in local food production, community development, education, urban vacancy, and public health.
