Boston Design Week is almost here! From March 20-30, 2014 designers and design-enthusiasts with converge at over 80 different events across Boston and beyond. Lectures, exhibits, open houses, receptions and more offer plenty of opportunities to explore the exciting world of design.

“Boston Design Week seeks to increase public awareness and appreciation of all aspects of design, foster recognition of the vital role design plays in our lives, and bring new audiences to a wide array of design industries and organizations.

Our vision is to encourage the public to explore architecture, environmental and landscape design, urban design, interior design, fashion, graphic design and photography, product and industrial design, and studio design such as furniture, decorative arts, sculpture, textiles, jewelry and more.”

Sending a big shout-out to our Youth Build Boston friends at The Designery who will be holding a series of open house sessions from March 24-26. We encourage you to stop by and learn about this inspiring, hands-on after school program dedicated to exposing young adults to the world of architecture and construction.
