We encourage everyone to join us tomorrow at the Women in Design Awards Ceremony & Luncheon at ArchitectureBoston Expo. Studio G’s own Founder and Managing Principal (and fearless leader!), Gail Sullivan, will be presented with the Award of Excellence. Begun in 2000, this annual award honors individuals who have exhibited exceptional achievement in person, process, product and position. Past winners will present the awards to this year’s honorees: Carole Wedge FAIA, Gail Sullivan AIA, and Kathleen Lugosch FAIA.
“I became an architect because I believe that places we inhabit shape who we are and how we feel. I started a design practice to share the joy, inspiration and sense of well-being created by well-designed buildings with those who have frequently experienced our worst environments: derelict public housing, decrepit urban schools, and neglected streets too often found in our urban cores. Buildings and spaces transmit a message…Take the power you have as a designer, a shaper of the human environment and therefore the human experience, and use it to help move a project toward the right goals, those with long term value for communities, our planet.” – Gail Sullivan
We look forward to seeing you at this truly inspiring event!
